Stunning houses, charming wine shops, waterfront dining and skyline views are some of the essentials which make the small town of Tiburon a sparkling gem along the bay. This town is full of class while maintaining a cool, coastal California vibe neighboring the busy city.
In my option, spring is the absolute best time to visit Tiburon because tourists have yet to flood the town and the flowers are just beginning to bloom. From San Francisco, head over the Golden Gate Bridge by car or make a whole day out of it and take the ferry! The pastel blue sky was big and bold on this particular weekday evening. The sun was still high up in the sky around 5pm and the ocean breeze made for the perfect Marin county adventure from the big city.
When in Tiburon, be sure to stop and eat at Sam’s Anchor Cafe (and order the blue cheese garlic bread!) . If you decide to take the ferry from San Francisco, it arrives right at the restaurant and the whole outside patio is all too often soaked in sunshine. Looking to make a whole day out of your adventure to Tiburon? Then browse main street by popping into the small shops and wine tasting rooms along the charming downtown!
A few other great recommendations for the outdoor and wine enthusiast….
