It’s no secret that a big part of San Francisco’s charm is the different neighborhoods that bring the city to life. Small cafes, unique shops and the sense of community within the different pockets of this 7×7 city provide a space for almost every type of personality. Another part of it’s charm? There’s always a new place to discover, an event to attend and new people to meet which all combine to make this one of the best cities in the world.
After six years of city living, you can bet that I have favorite areas I tend to revisit time and time again. With that said, I have a continuous desire to head to undiscovered neighborhood, store openings and restaurants previews to be exposed to different cultures and hidden gems in the city by the bay! The most recent area that stole my heart is the residential area known as Glen Park. On a sunny but chilly spring day, I ventured to Chenery Street to explore a neighborhood store, Perch.
Upon arrival, the owner behind this charming shop, Zoel, gave me a tour around the 5 different sections of the store which are broken down into stationary (the cutest cards), home/kitchen decor, children’s goods, unique jewelry and personal care. Zoel’s passion and talent for choosing only high quality products he would use himself is clear through the well designed store set up and the best selection out there!
While I was browsing the products inside of Perch, a tall white pitcher and coffee table book caught my eye and I knew bringing these items home would be a wonderful memory of my spring morning exploring Glen Park. After I departed from Perch, I headed over to local grocer, Canyon Market to choose some local fresh blooms to display with the pitcher.

This post was made possible in partnership with Perch. As always, all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the companies that help made the blog a little more dreamy!
