Just when I think I’ve explored each and every district of San Francisco, there appears to be yet another victorian house lined pathway leading to an unknown area I don’t recognize. On a particularly white skied covered afternoon, Lauren of Bohemian By The Bay and I seeked out our own little discovery of Duboce Park. We had a lovely brunch at Doboce Park Cafe before wandering beyond the grassy field to an iconic San Francisco street lined with pastel colored victorians. We spent some time capturing each other’s favorite look of the month while sipping on lattes and pretending we lived in the homes.
One of my favorite styles this season has been incorporating quality jewelry into my outfits. For a long time (many longer than anyone would like to admit) I would keep going back and back to places like Forever 21 to pick out insanely cheap jewelry only to find the same jewelry pieces damaged or broken on my dresser waiting to be disposed of. I recently connected with the darling Elissa of Lucy Mint to style the minimalist necklace set and two rings. Not only have these pieces hold up over time, but the the gold has stayed a consistent bright hue ever since I opened up the package back in January! As a southern California based jewelry maker, Elissa really takes her time to make each and every item high quality, which is something I’ve always valued. The best part is, Lucy Mint is super affordable, making it easy to find pieces that will last more just one season!
