Now that fall is officially upon us, it’s time for pumpkins, thick sweaters and yes, apple picking! Choosing the best apples at an orchard is definitely a fun activity to get you in the mood for fall, especially if you wanted summer to last just a little bit longer. Grab your signifiant other, gather the kids in your life, or set off with your friends for a fun way to kick fall into gear before it’s too late!
There are several orchards within driving distance from the Bay Area, so making this a day trip is completely do-able. If you’re ready to grab the keys and explore the orchards, here are the top rated locations. I suggest checking in the day of to be sure that the orchard is in fact open and that there are enough apples left to pick before November hits.
